The Courtyard

Susan of "Southern Daydreamer" is hosting "Outdoor Wednesday", and Barb of "Grits and Glamour" is hosting "A Plant and Patio Party".

We have a courtyard style entrance instead of a front porch. We recently did a Bella Vernici stained concrete overlay on the plain concrete floor and now it really feels more like a room. It is too hot in the summer to spend very long out there-unless it is early morning or after the sun goes down. Nightfall brings out the mosquitoes (and they love me!) so that leaves early morning to spend some time out there. We still need to update the furniture - something really cushy and comfortable would be wonderful. I also plan to add an herb garden soon.
